The next generation needs grandparents.
Grandparents with a Mission (GWAM) was born out of two needs. The first need came from an urgency of the older generation to remain productive in the Kingdom; the second sprang from the current condition of our culture and the commitment to leave the Kingdom in capable hands. Older generations have always been responsible for passing knowledge, wisdom, experience, support, and encouragement to the next generations. In this “me” culture, some of us have forgotten our mission in this season. This is our reminder to stay the course and end our jobs well.
This movement seeks to provide resources, encouragement, ideas, and community for like-minded individuals. We hope you will find ways to impact your families, communities, schools, churches, and the nation by following this movement.
Start a conversation with God using these ideas. Then act upon the blueprint He gives you. We hope you will remember this page and come back and share with others what you have partnered with God to do. Your stories may spark other ideas for our community.
